NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – City of BELLEVILLE
RE: PROPOSED Zoning map amendment
Notice is hereby given that the City of Belleville’s Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider the request for a zoning change from the (I-P) Industrial Park District to the (RM) Residential Multiple-Family Residential District on a 3.49-acre tract of land, located at 515 Sumpter Road. The purpose of this request is to allow for the construction of single-story attached apartments.
The Planning Commission will conduct its public hearing on February 9, 2023 at 7PM, during the regular City of Belleville Planning Commission meeting, at the Municipal Council Chambers located at 6 Main Street, Belleville, Michigan.
Copies of the project plan detailing the proposed projects will be available for inspection by the general public at the Office of the City Clerk, 6 Main Street, Belleville, Michigan. Written comments received before the hearing record is closed on February 9, 2023 will receive responses in the final project plan. Written comments should be sent to the City of Belleville’s Director of Public Works, Rick Rutherford, at 6 Main St, Belleville, MI, 48111.
