Priority Waste is under contract with the City of Belleville to provide solid waste, recycling, yard waste, and bulky trash pickup services to City residents.   City residents (i.e. those with a 3-digit street address) have a Thursday pickup day each week, with a few exceptions.  Charges for these services are included in your “water bill.”

Each cart has a serial number associated with your service address.  Please do NOT place hot ashes, construction debris, and/or hazardous waste in your cart.  You may use a regular garden house and dishwashing soap to clean your cart, as needed.  For household hazardous waste collection, please contact the Wayne County Resource Recovery Coordinator at (734) 326-3936 or visit www.waynecounty.com, the Department of Public Services.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

Unless otherwise notified by Republic, there will be no collection on the following six holidays:

          New Year’s Day           Labor Day
          Memorial Day           Thanksgiving Day
          4th of July           Christmas Day

When the holiday falls on a weekday, there will be no collections on that day, and the rest of that week’s refuse, recycling, and yard waste will be collected one day later than usual.  If the holiday falls on a weekend, your collection day will NOT change.
