The City of Belleville is replacing all of the water meters due to the meters reaching the end of their projected lifecycle.  The replacement work will be done by SLC Meter Company.  The installers will have identification, and they will need to enter your home to replace the meter and upgrade the reading device.  A new cellular transmitter (CT) will be connected to the meter and installed above it in your basement or crawl space, or attached ot the side of your home.  The old device outside your home will also be removed.  The work should take about 45 minutes to complete.  Please call 248-625-0667 extention 300 to make an appointment, or CLICK HERE to schedule online.  Installations will take place between the hours of 8am-4pm Monday - Friday.  Thank you for your cooperation.
